Everything you need to know about how ClearRadius works and what its data means.
How is the risk score calculated?
The risk score is a composite index that weighs the number and proximity of EPA-reporting toxic facilities, recorded drinking water violations and PFAS detections, and health-rate associations from published epidemiological studies for the surrounding area. It is a relative indicator for comparison and awareness — not a medical diagnosis or a guarantee of any specific health outcome.
What data sources do you use?
ClearRadius draws exclusively from official US government databases: the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for toxic facilities and water violations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for health statistics, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). We do not use proprietary or unverified third-party data.
Is this medical advice?
No. ClearRadius is an informational tool only. Proximity associations are based on published epidemiological studies and do not establish medical causation for any individual address. The app is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about your health.
How do I cancel my subscription?
